The Ministry of Finance and Planning has confirmed the full payment of April 2025 salaries to civil servants, organized forces, and foreign missions, underscoring its dedication to prompt salary disbursement.
In a statement released on Thursday, Arop Nuoi Arop, the First Undersecretary at the Ministry, announced that all salary payments for April have been processed and dispatched across all sectors.
“We are pleased to inform spending agencies, the media, and the public that salary payments for April 2025 have been completed,” Arop stated. “This includes payments for civil servants, the army, organized forces, and foreign missions, under Chapter One.”
She added that the payments extend to all public sector employees and include transfers to states and administrative areas. All relevant accounts have been credited as of April 24, 2025, and the funds are ready for disbursement.
This milestone, Arop noted, reflects President Salva Kiir’s strict directives and Vice President for the Economic Cluster, Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel’s emphasis on ensuring salary payments are made by the 24th of each month.
“This accomplishment demonstrates our continued commitment to these directives,” she said.
The Ministry also reaffirmed its focus on broader economic goals, including reforms aimed at inclusive recovery, improved service delivery, and long-term sustainable growth, as outlined in the Revised National Development Strategy (R-NDS).
“We remain devoted to improving the welfare of public servants while advancing national development,” Arop concluded.
